it's been a minute since my last post, but I'm back. and in true alysce fashion, changes are happening. Change is inevitable. Change is scary, but change is also invigorating. As of Dec 1st, I officially started renting a chair at Salon Elan of Green Bay!
I'm sure that a lot of you are like what the hell? What happened to Arabella? I thought you liked it there? What about the remodel?!
None of that is wrong. I loved Arabella and the relationships I've created there. It was the perfect space to start my journey as an independent hairstylist. And the remodel?! It's beautiful. What happened is i decided to take a huggggge leap for my career, and I listened to my gut. A few weeks ago I had just stepped off the plane from a long weekend with my BFF in D.C. when Jessica text me. She wanted to meet for coffee because she had an opportunity she wanted to discuss with me. The meeting felt like chatting with an old friend, excited about the future. and my initial gut instinct? It was doing a happy dance.
Anyone that knows me knows that I'm a firm believer in the Universe creating opportunities when you're ready for them. I'm also a firm believer in listening to my gut. I've learned over the years it's my strongest intuition when it comes to career moves, relationships, friendships, and even my health. I've learned from my past to never. ignore. it.
So here’s to not ignoring my gut and an exciting new chapter. And always, thank you for coming along for the ride.
